Whew! We're two weeks into our $5000 Energy Remodel contest and local new agencies are picking up on it.You can read more about the contest here, and here, and here.
We're also very pleased to announce that Tobin Fried, Sustainability Manager for Durham City-County has joined our expert panel of judges!
If you haven't entered the contest yet, you can do so on our Facebook page or simply by emailing us at info@greenhorizon.com and telling us in 300 words or more why your home most needs an energy makeover to make it healthier, greener or more efficient. Photos and videos are welcome.

"I live in a great home that was built the same year that I was born in 1978. Both of us are now a little creaky, a little drafty and not as taut as we once were!
My lower level especially has really cold floors (I don't let my daughter crawl around on the floors downstairs, its so cold) and I'm paying over $300/month in utilities.
